A GOOD TESTIMONY THROUGH FAITH

"And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise..." (Heb. 11:39 NKJV).

I'm sorry to be late in posting today's Honey from the Rock. As some of you know, my father is in his last days of life. I have been thinking of him quite a bit this week. I think today's verse would be true of him. He has "obtained a good testimony through faith." Dad has always had a firm faith in God, even in the darkest of days. He has lived 93 years by faith and I know that he will die trusting in God. His faith has been approved by God. He is about to receive the reward that all true believers shall receive.

Prayer: God, I thank you for the testimony of my father. I thank you for his unswerving faith. Most of all, I thank you that you will reward him because he has diligently sought you all the days of his life. Through Christ I pray, Amen.
