GAIN THE VICTORY!

DAY 20 - We are nearing the end of our 21-day quest to knowing that we have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16). Victory is near. Victory through our divine Helper. Consider Psalm 60:12 NIV, "With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies." Isn't that an encouraging "victory verse?" We will gain the victory - with God! Our enemies will be trampled underfoot - by God! This is why it is so important to align ourselves with God. He must be our daily focus. He alone grants power from on high so that we can gain the victory.

Live each day knowing that victory and triumph are yours because God is on your side! "With God" we will gain the victory; without God we will lose the battle. "With God" all our enemies (including those terrible enemies of the mind) will be defeated; without God our enemies will win the battle. Say with the Psalmist, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear...The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress...Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth" (Psalm 46:1, 2, 7, 10 NIV).

Prayer: Dear Lord, I exalt you in my mind. I know that You, and You alone, are the only true God. Be with us, Lord. Be our refuge and strength. We need You and want You to be our ever-present help in time of trouble. Through Christ we pray.
