Today is Thanksgiving Day in America. Multiplied thousands of believers will gather with their families and pause to pray before they eat. Pagans will just plow into the food without a thought of God or the many blessings he gives them each day. God blesses all but His benefits are for the believer. In Psalm 103 we find five precious benefits to thank God for on this special day. "Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits..."

1. Who forgives all your iniquities
2. Who heals all your diseases
3. Who redeems your life from destruction
4. Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies
5. Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's."

With the financial world crashing down all around us (and all around the world) don't forget these five spiritual and eternal benefits of the believer!
