How many titles do you wear? I suppose that depends on how busy you are or how well you do at multi-tasking. For example, I am a son, a grandson, a husband, a father, a grandfather, an uncle, a student, a teacher, minister, author, historian, essayist, editor, et al. But put up against the 700 names and titles of our Lord "I blush to speak His name" (Isaac Watts).

This week we will be looking at more names and titles of Jesus (selected from my "Celebrating 33 Enduring Qualities of Jesus of Nazareth."). Today we will look at those from K - P. Jesus is called the King of Glory (Psa 24:7-8), King of kings (Rev 19:16), and Kinsman (Ruth 4:14). He is the Lamb of God (John 1:29), the Last Adam (1 Cor 15:45), and Lord of lords (1 Tim 6:15). Jesus is called Man of Sorrows (Isa 53:3), Messiah [Anointed One] (John 1:41), and the Mighty God (Isa 9:6). He was called the Nazarene (Matt 2:23), Only Begotten Son (John 1:18), and Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6). There is not a person on earth deserving of these names and titles except for Jesus the Christ! That's why we hail Him as Prophet, and Priest, and King!

Hymn: Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer! Sing, O Earth, His wonderful love proclaim! Hail Him! Hail Him! Highest archangels in glory; Strength and honor give to His holy name! (Fanny J. Crosby)
