MORE NAMES/TITLES OF JESUS

I am very grateful for my good name. My grandfather was named Victor, my father was named Victor, and I am named Victor. "Victor" is Latin for "conqueror." My first name is Dale, meaning "valley" and my last name is Knowles, meaning "hill." When put together, God wants me to be the Conqueror (through Christ) of the Hills and Valleys in my life. But my name(s) pale in comparison to the name(s) and title(s) of Christ. Today, let's look at a few from F - J.
In Scripture the Christ is called the Faithful Witness (Rev 1:5), the Firstborn of the dead (Rev 1:5), and the Fountain (Zech 13:1). He is the Good Master (Matt 19:16), the Good Shepherd (John 10:11), and the Governor (Matt 2:6). Our Lord is called the Holy One (1 John 2:20), the Hope of Glory (Col 1:27), and the Hope of Israel (Acts 28:20). Jesus is the great I AM (John 8:58), the Image of God (2 Cor 4:4), and the Innocent Blood (Matt 27:4). Finally (for today), He is Jehovah [Yahweh] (Isa 26:4, the Judge of the Quick and the Dead (Acts 10:42), and the Just One (Acts 7:52). All of these wonderful names and titles are richer than all the rubies in the crowns of any king or queen on earth!
Song: Jesus is the sweetest name I know, And He's just the same as His lovely name. And that's the reason why I love Him so; O, Jesus is the sweetest name I know" (Lela B. Long)
