PLANTING PLENTY OF "LET US"

"Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, LET US fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it" (Hebrews 4:1 NKJV).
I like lettuce. So did the writer of Hebrews, but he was talking about "let us." That particular phrase appears more than a dozen times in this book. So let's plant some rows of "let us" today, hoping for a great spiritual harvest!
LET US make every effort to enter that rest (4:11), come boldly to the throne of grace (4:16), go on unto perfection (6:1), draw near to God with a true heart (10:22), hold fast the profession of our faith (10:23), consider one another (10:24,25), lay aside every weight of sin (12:1), run with patience the race set before us (12:1,2), have grace/serve God (12:28), go forth bearing His reproach (13:13), offer a sacrifice of praise (13:15). If you plant these rows of "let us" I believe you will enjoy a great harvest and feast later on!
Song/Prayer: "Let us break bread together on our knees...Let us drink the cup together on our knees...Let us praise God together on our knees; When I fall on my knees, with my face to the rising sun, O Lord, have mercy on me" (Afro-American Spiritual).
