A LIVING FAITH IN THE LIVING GOD

"See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God" (Hebrews 3:13 NIV).

The big difference between God and the millions of pseudo gods is that our God is alive! The living God deserves a living, active faith. Today's text is a timely one. Brothers and sisters, see to it (that demands action on our part) that none of you have "an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God" (NKJV).

If you think that God is just a part of the dim and distant past, you will not be likely to serve Him with much fervor. In fact, you are in danger of turning away from Him. But if you believe that He is "the living God" you will be motivated to serve Him with all your heart, mind, strength, and soul. A living God demands and deserves a living faith!

      James 2:17 "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." I much desire to really live for jesus today, keep my faith alive - it is a "unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God" a heart w/dead faith that can turn away from the living god I believe. That would be bad thing to happen to me I wouldn't want that none at all - works they don't save but faith without works is dead!!!!! Christians can for sure for sure get in them a "sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God" Take heed good exhortation this blog post is to me to take heed to god's word 1 Corinthians 10:12 "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." ---- and off the topic but I like the look and feel of your blog, I want a vote/pole option for my blog entries to I think that's neato!!
