BLESSED MORE THAN ANY OTHERS!

"You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor any of your livestock without young" (Deut. 7:14 NIV).

Just focus on this phrase: "You will be blessed more than any other people." Now, why have you been envying people of the world - people who are not in covenant with God? That's crazy! Have you forgotten that if you are a child of God you are more blessed than any other people in the world?

I like what Paul told the Christians in Ephesus: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ" (Eph. 1:3). Notice, not some blessings or many blessings but every blessing. Note, too, that they are spiritual in nature and they are to be enjoyed only if you are in Christ. Just as Israel was blessed more than any other people so the church of Christ is blessed more than any other people on earth. Thank God for His wonderful blessings today!

Prayer: Father of all Blessings, thank You for blessing us more than all other peoples on earth! May we live in the fullness of Your blessing this day. Through Christ we pray.
