"TAKE CARE"

"Therefore, take care to follow the commands, decrees and laws I give you today" (Deut. 7:11 NIV).
We often use this phrase when speaking to a member of the family or a close friend: "Take care!" We want what is best for them. We want them to drive carefully and arrive safely at their destination.
God loves you so much that He says, "Take care." He, too, wants you to arrive safely at your eternal destination - Heaven. So He says, "Take care to follow My word. I know what is best for you. I know the pitfalls and the dangers. I want to spare you heartache. Listen to My Word. Consider My wisdom. Have a safe journey home!" So, friend, let us do what our Creator has asked us to do. Take care to follow His word that He has graciously made available to you today!
Hymn: "Would you live for Jesus, and be always pure and good? Would you walk with Him within the narrow road? Would you have Him bear your burden, carry all your load? Let Him have His way with thee. His power can make you what you ought to be; His blood can cleanse your heart and make you free; His love can fill your soul and you will see, 'Twas best for Him to have His way with thee" (C. S. Nusbaum)
