"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." (2 Peter 3:18 NIV).

God does not want us to fall from grace. He wants us to grow in grace. We are saved by grace (Eph. 2:8,9), we live by grace (Gal. 2:20,21), and we are to grow in grace (1 Pet. 2:2). We are also to grow in knowledge. The more we learn about Jesus, the more we can grow in His grace. "More about Jesus would I know, more of His grace to others show" (E. E. Hewitt).

Get to know Jesus in the Word, especially in the four gospels. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8). As He appears in the gospels, so He is today. As He is today, so will He be forever. Know Him and you will be like Him!
