Confidence in the Prayers of Others

"But, meanwhile, also prepare a guest room for me, for I trust that through your prayers I shall be granted to you" (Philemon 22 NKJV).
Here is one of the most amazing statements of faith in the Bible. Paul is in prison, writing to his friend Philemon. He has already expressed his confidence in this man, that he will do even more than he asks (he asked him to receive back his runaway slave, Onesimus). Now Paul bold requests that Philemon "prepare a guest room" for him! How is Paul going to move from a prison cell to a guest room? Through Philemon's effectual prayer life!
Paul believed that a Christian's prayers could circumvent and countermand the prison system of the Roman Empire! Do we pray for big things to happen - things that look impossible from the human standpoint? How many people are depending on your prayers of faith today? Is it possible that our fervent prayers can help move a friend from a bad situation to a better one? Paul had that trust in the prayers of his friend. I have that trust in your prayers. Today I ask that you pray for my wife Evelyn to be freed from the prison cell of Meniere's Disease to the guest room of no dizziness, nausea, and hearing problems. Thank you!
Prayer: Merciful Father, please hear the prayers of my friends this day and bless my wife with healing from a disease that has no healing from a human standpoint. Through Christ, the Great Physician, we pray.
