The secret of success in the kingdom of God is contained in this passage. Here are eight words which can revolutionize your church or ministry: "for the people had a mind to work." Necessity may be the mother of invention but determination is the key to success. When people catch the vision and have a mind to fulfill the vision through hard, cooperative work, great things can be accomplished for God. In spite of their enemies and opponents, the people of God, believing they could do the task, put their mind to complete the job. What could you accomplish today if you put your mind to it? Prayer: Almighty God, look down in mercy upon us today. We want to do Your will. We want to build Your kingdom here on earth. Give us a willing mind to work for Your honor, praise, and glory. Through Christ we pray. |
